AnalyzeMyToy.com was founded by Dr. Frederick B. Covington, a pediatric occupational therapist and Father of four. The website was started to assist the parents of his pediatric patients in not only purchasing toys that were beneficial to their childrens' specific growth and developments, but to stop parents from spending hard earned money on toys that would in no way benefit their child. The ideas put forth in this website was first instituted at his private practice, On Time Pediatrics.
Here he instituted what is now know as a "Toy Analysis". Not only did he perform this with clients, but the services were later requested from day care centers, early learning centers, and elementary schools.
Dr. Covington was encouraged by both parents and teachers alike, to make the "toy analysis" idea farther reaching, thus AnalyzeMyToy.com was born.
